y can do in 1 day = 1/(7x5) = 1/35
x & y can do in 1 day = 1/20 + 1/35 = 11/140
Now,
11/140 work is done in 1 day
So, 1 work is done in 140/11 day
So, 11/14 work is done in (140x11)/(11x14) = 10 days
x & y can do in 1 day = 1/20 + 1/35 = 11/140
Now,
11/140 work is done in 1 day
So, 1 work is done in 140/11 day
So, 11/14 work is done in (140x11)/(11x14) = 10 days
